ADB, Fastboot and Drivers
What is that? What is this?

This is an all-in – one installer for 3 most popular Android PC devices. For 3 small things don’t have to download huge SDK. In the beginning of 2013,I’ve seen another TD ADB installer, but it hasn’t been appropriate for me so I’m finally adding it here. The installer for tools and drivers is very small and simple.

Features:
  • Small – 9.18 MB
  • Fast – 15 seconds install (many times its even less)
  • AIO – ADB, Fastboot and also Drivers
  • Easy to install – just run it and program will guide you
  • Clean – ADB and Google Drivers from latest SDK
Install process:
  •  Run it (Require administrator privileges)
  • 2. Press Y/Yes to install ADB and Fastboot or N/No to skip
  • 3. Press Y/Yes to install ADB system-wide or N/No for current user only
  • 4. Press Y/Yes to install Drivers or N/No to skip
  • 5. Continue Driver installation
  • 6. 15 seconds passed – finished!
Notes:

System-wide: SystemDrive percent \adb directory and system-wide route are enabled in the ADB and Fastboot directory.
User only currently: UserProfile percentage UserProfile percentage and added path to the current user are enabled in ADB and Fastboot only.
From every directory CMD can use ADB and Fastboot.
Drivers are system-installed— no directory installation is needed.
The installer determines automatically whether 32-bit or 64-bit drivers are to be installed.
Anyone is having trouble detecting a computer, go to the howto driver.zip Please enter “adb-installer.log” contents from the desktop here if the installation is not successful. (If any exists)

  • you have trouble enumerating the driver in the installation Windows 8.1 update KB2917929
  • If you have a older Google USB Driver enabled, you shouldn’t uninStart it in the Control Panel before installing new
  • If you have already installed it on a system-wide basis. (For now, at least)
Mod {edit}

In that post, I was told that ADB and its related tools are built in an outdated version.
Instead of using the most recent version of this TD Portal article, you are strongly encouraged to solve problems with newer devices.
Of course, if you want to do it, that’s all right because this installer will probably make it easier for some people to get around ADB, but please know it’s very outdated.
