How to zip a file in Android mobile with ES File Explorer|2021

It’s not just for desktops and laptops, file compression. ZIP files can also be used by Android devices.

Compressing files can store precious storage space if you storage files locally on your Android device. If you need a mobile connection to send files, it may also keep your data use down by compressing them beforehand. The application ES File Explorer is one of the easiest ways to compress Android files.

Here’s how:

Step 1: Launch ES File Explorer and navigate to the files you want to compress.

Step 2: Long-press on a folder to compress the whole folder. To select specific files, long-press on one of the files to enable multiple selections, then select the other files.

Step 3: After you’ve selected all the files for your ZIP file, tap on “More,” then select “Compress.”

Step 4: Type in a name for your ZIP file, select a compression level, set a password (optional), then press the “OK” button.

This is it. This is it. When you finalise compression, you will see the ZIP file in the folder in which you worked. If you want to send the file to the cloud, press the “Share” button long-wheel-drive.
