However, a slight twist will occur according to rumours. A variety of updates are released every six weeks, each adding new weapons, characters, items, quests, and more.
In the 1.6 update, we saw a host of additions from the inclusion of the costume system to a brand new Kazuha and many more. The new region, the summer islands, was one of the highlights, and players had a number of new searches to explore.
However, the 1.6 update appears to be rather small compared to what’s to come. This month the 1.7 Update is due to arrive and Inazuma is due to start its long-awaited version. Here’s everything you need to know.
ARE THAN EXCLUSIVE TO LIVESTREAM
The upcoming 1.7 Update live stream will be only available on Twitch, according to the latest Genshin Impact leak by the Sukuna leaker. This change is due to myHoYo’s organisation of the live stream on the official YouTube channel. Two live streams are usually available, a Chinese stream and a Chinese stream.
The Chinese version of the live stream is first broadcast on Bilibili’s official channel. The English version will be streamed on Youtube a few hours later.

In addition, the leak also indicates the time and date of the next live stream. The live stream takes place on 9 July at 5:00 am PST. Interestingly, this time around simultaneously, both Chinese and English live streams take place. However, the authenticity of this claim is slightly unquestionable, as miHoYo does not usually hold live streams concurrently.
