Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Price Nintendo has confirmed the cost and release date for its premium-tier subscription for Nintendo Switch Online, the service that allows Switch owners to play multiplayer games online and access a library of vintage NES and Super NES games. The Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, which Nintendo announced in September, would cost $49.99 for a 12-month individual membership and $79.99 for a 12-month family membership (which includes up to eight accounts). The service will be available on October 25th, according to Nintendo.
In comparison, the normal Nintendo Switch Online subscription tier costs $19.99 for an individual account and $34.99 for a family pack for a year.
Back in September, Nintendo announced Nintendo 64 and Sega Genesis controllers for the Switch in a separate Nintendo Direct.
Access to downloadable content for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will also be available with the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. During a Nintendo Direct presentation on Friday, Nintendo announced the DLC, Happy Home Paradise. If you wish to buy the DLC separately, it will be $24.99 on November 5, 2021.
