How To Get All Vegetable In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

How To Get All Vegetable In Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The basic six fruits are easy to obtain in Animal Crossing, but vegetables and similar ingredients are more difficult to obtain. You’ve come to the right place if you’re looking for vegetables and similar foods to collect or cook with, such as carrots, turnips, potatoes, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots. In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, here’s how to get every type of vegetable.

Crop Production

Growing your own vegetables is the most convenient way to obtain them. In the game, you can grow six different types of vegetables, one of which has four variants. Crops grow in three days, and harvesting unwatered crops yields one of each, while harvesting fully watered crops yields three.

  • Pumpkins
    • Orange

Daisy Mae’s Turnip Purchase

Animal Crossing vegetables

In the past, turnips were mostly used for buying and reselling. You can now cook with them, thanks to the free 2.0 update! Turnips can be obtained by speaking with Daisy Mae on your island between 5 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Sunday mornings in your current time zone. They can cost between 90 and 110 Bells. Turnips, on the other hand, spoil after a week, so you must either cook with them or sell them before the following Sunday.

Gathering Mushrooms

Whether you use Mushrooms to build special DIY furniture or use them for cooking delicious foods like Mushroom Pizza and Mushroom Curry, Players can obtain mushrooms by gathering them from around your island. However, the catch is that they are only available during two months a year: November in the Northern Hemisphere and May in the Southern Hemisphere. Be sure to collect them while you can.

  • Elegant Mushrooms
  • Flat Mushrooms
  • Rare Mushrooms
  • Round Mushrooms
  • Skinny Mushrooms

Most crafting and cooking is done with Flat, Round, and Skinny Mushrooms. Only two DIYs each require Rare or Elegant Mushrooms, but players can sell them at Nook’s Cranny for 16,000 and 10,000 Bells, respectively (will vary with Bell Boom ordinance).

Obtaining Bamboo Shoots

Bamboo Shoots, unlike Bamboo or Young Spring Bamboo, are a vegetable that can be cooked with (if you don’t plant trees with them). Bamboo shoots cannot be harvested from bamboo that you have grown. However, there are two primary methods for obtaining Bamboo Shoots. One option is to try your luck with Nook Miles Ticket Mystery Tours. If you end up on a Bamboo Island, you can dig up a lot of Bamboo Shoots.

Daisy Mae is another source of Bamboo Shoots. To be eligible, you must have purchased Turnips from her at least three times in the last three weeks, but once you have, she will send you three Bamboo Shoots as a thank you every time you buy at least 100 Turnips.
