Where To Find Medaka In Genshin Impact: Medaka Locations

Where To Find Medaka In Genshin Impact: Medaka Locations. Fishing is a common feature in RPG games, and Genshin Impact is no exception. Travelers can now relax while fishing different species in various locations thanks to the Genshin Impact 2.1 update. The fishing quest is currently available to players who have unlocked the Serenitea Pot. This means that the absolute minimum Adventure Rank to begin fishing is AR28.

In Genshin Impact 2.1, players can look for ripples in bodies of water to indicate that there are fish to catch. Each spot has its own species, so players must examine each ripple carefully to find the fish they require. Fortunately, Medaka should be easy to find because the fish is very common.

Tsurumi Island now has two new fishing spots in Genshin Impact 2.2, both of which contain Medaka. For players who believe that this basic fish is useless, they are incorrect. They have a secondary use in food processing. The Medaka family of fish can be processed into a single fish. As a result, they won’t be sitting in the inventory for no reason.

Locations of Medaka in Mondstadt

In Mondstadt, Medaka can be found at these locations:

  1. Springvale
  2. Stormbearer Mountains
  3. Stormterror’s Lair
  4. Windrise

The majority of Mondstadt’s fishing spots are near Teleport Points, specifically Springvale, Windrose, and Stormbearer Mountain. In Stormterror’s Lair, players must take their time walking to the fishing spots.

Medaka can also be found at Dragonspine’s special fishing spot. Players can use the Teleport Point west of Skyfrost Nail to get to the small lake, then walk there. People should remember to stay warm in Dragonspine because it is a harsh environment.

Liyue Medaka Locations

Just like in Mondstadt, there are six spots for Medaka in Liyue. They are:

  1. Dihua Marsh
  2. Southwest of Qingce Village
  3. Mt. Aocang
  4. Nantianmen
  5. Tianqiu Valley

There is a Teleport Point west of the fishing spots for the fishing spot southwest of Qingce Village. For the one in Nantianmen, players can use Azhdaha’s domain to travel faster.

Inazuma Medaka Locations

Inazuma used to have the least amount of Medaka locations. After Genshin Impact 2.2, there are now a total of six Medaka fishing spots:

  1. Nazuchi Beach
  2. North of Sangonomiya Shrine
  3. Suigetsu Pool
  4. Fort Hiraumi
  5. West of Chirai Shrine
  6. South-West of Autake Plains

The one in Chirai Shrine is relatively easy to find. All players need to do is teleport west of the Shrine to the Waypoint. The Autake Plains fishing spot, on the other hand, is a bit tricky. To begin, players must embark on a fishing expedition with the ghost, Ipe. Then proceed to the island near the shore (the one with a Hilichurl Hut on it). Using the Peculiar Pinion on a Thunderbird Statue will reveal the location.

Medaka is the fundamental fish in Genshin Impact. Getting them is critical during the early angling season. This is due to the fact that they are required to obtain blueprints for bait recipes.

Players can exchange three Medaka for one bait blueprint by speaking with Nantuck in Mondstadt. So, in total, players require

Medaka Catching Techniques

Every fish responds to only one type of bait. Medaka reacts to the Fruit Paste Bait. The bait for this one is automatically available to craft on the Crafting Table. To make 10 Fruit Paste Bait, players will need one Sunsettia and one Wheat. Sunsettia is a common fruit that grows on trees, and Wheat can be purchased from the General Store.

A fishing rod is also required, and there are a few available in Genshin Impact. The Wilderness Rod is the first option available to players after completing the Exploding Population World Quest. This quest instructs players on the fundamentals of fishing. The other rods in Genshin Impact are as follows:

  • Windtangler â€“ Sold by Mondstadt Fishing Association
  • Wishmaker â€“ Sold by Liyue Fishing Association
  • Narukawa Ukai â€“ Sold by Inazuma Fishing Association
  • Moonstringer â€“ This was only available during September 2021’s Lunar Realm event.

Medaka can be caught at any time of day, so players do not need to plan their day around catching the fish. However, once a fish has been caught from a specific location, it will take several days for it to respawn. As a result, players who want to catch a few more fish must travel to some of the other locations.
