How to start Abyssal Lector Genshin boss fight
When it is Evernight, return to Dainichi Mikoshi and speak to Aru after receiving the fragments from the entire “The Subterranean Trials of Drake and Serpent.” The NPC shade will then start an elevator, allowing you to descend farther within the shrine.
Before confronting “Enjou Genshin Impact” or the Pyro Abyss Lector, you must defeat three Bathysmal Vishaps here.
When he returns after you’ve defeated the Vishaps, he’ll disclose his true identity as an Abyss Order member.

Abyss Lector Fathomless Flames attacks
Knowing Enjou’s attack patterns is the most vital thing to learn in order to defeat him.
In Genshin Impact, the Abyss Lector Fathomless Flames is identical to its Electro version, which relies on ground explosions and missiles. The following are its capabilities:
- Flame Orb – Shooting several big fireballs at the player.
- Flame Burst – Sending fire eruption from the ground.
If you are hit, the Brand of Abyssal Flames debuff will be applied. After a while, this will explode, causing significant damage to the entire team.
Abyss Lector weakness
With the appropriate suggestions, you can turn each minion and tiny strategy used by the Pyro Abyss Lector Genshin against him.
Enjou will call some Abyss Mages of Pyro and Cryo elements after his HP drops to 25%. He’ll also have a Pyro Shield to shield himself and cast additional spells, including a Meteor Strike, more frequently.
Hydro-based attacks can be used to shatter the shield. But be wary of the Dark Furnace as well. It’s a little crystalline object floating near the Abyss Lector that resembles the objects from the La Signora encounter.

Return to Sangonomiya Shrine to present Tsuyoko with the Bloodcoral Branch and complete the Enkanomiya main quest arc.
Note: Finishing this arc unlocks the Bathysmal Vishap Herd encounter in Dainichi Mikoshi, where you can farm the Dragonheir’s False Fin material needed to ascend Shenhe.
Additionally, when the player completes the arc, an NPC named Erebos will appear in Enkanomiya – Serpent’s Heart. You’ll be able to complete the Erebos’ Secret quest line.
