Location Of Dragon Tears In God Of War

Location Of Dragon Tears In God Of War. Finding the God of War dragons is only the beginning. To acquire Dragon Tears, you must fulfil Favors for all three dragons, which you can then use to enhance the Shattered Gauntlet of Ages.

We’ll tell you where to find all of the dragon sites in this God of War guide, as well as where to find each of the shrines you’ll need to demolish within them.

The Gauntlet requires five Dragon Tears to properly upgrade, and you can collect three from Midgard’s dragons. However, clearing all three Favors in each dragon location takes a long time and a lot of walking back and forth, so be patient.

God of War Dragon Locations – Where to Find Fafnir

Fafnir resides near Alfheim Tower and the Lake of Nine. Sailing towards the tower, dock the boat on the left jetty. To identify this dragon’s location, destroy the rubble, scale the cliff, and then follow the trail to the double doors. As soon as you approach the dragon, the Flight of Fafnir favour begins.

Dragon Location 1: How to Complete Flight of Fafnir in God of War

For this mission, you must destroy three shrines. The first two dragons in this location can be found on a trail to your left. The first one is surrounded by Draugr, so battle them before using the Leviathan Axe to destroy the shrine.

You’ll find even more Draugr if you follow the trail to the second one. You’ll have to evade Fafnir’s lightning this time, but the approach is the same as before: fight the opponents, then use the Axe to demolish the shrine.

The third shrine is located in the southeast part of the region and is guarded by a gigantic Draugr wielding a two-handed sword. Deal with the new threat, demolish the Shrine, and finally speak with Fafnir.

If you’re having difficulties locating any of these, make the Favor your active quest to receive markers leading you in the right way.

God of War Dragon Locations – Where to Find Otr

The Alfheim Tower is also close to Otr. This time, dock your boat to the right of the tower and walk down the walkway to a second set of double doors. To unlock the doors, you’ll need to turn a wheel nearby.

When you walk within the doors of Veithurgard, another Favor for this dragon location begins right away: Otr’s Imprisonment.

How to Finish Otr’s Imprisonment at Dragon Location 2

You must also demolish three shrines in Otr’s Imprisonment. When you arrive in the Veithurgard region, go forward until you find a pillar with runes inscribed on it. You’ll have to avoid Otr’s lightning as you make your way up the route. At the pillar, turn right and continue the path to the first shrine. As usual, defeat the Draugr and use the Axe to demolish the shrine.

Return to the pillar and take the left path this time, then repeat the process.

Return to the first open area now. Turn right and up the steps into a cave lit by a torch. This road will take you along some stoneworks and across a few gaps, but keep going until you reach the third shrine. This one just has one Draugr, so deal with it first, then destroy the shrine before speaking with Otr.

God of War Dragon Locations – Where to Find Reginn

It takes some effort to get to Reginn’s dragon spot. You must first accomplish four Favors for Brok and Sindri (two each) before performing the Hail to the King Favor for Brok.

Following that, you’ll be given a quest marker that will guide you to Konunsgard, which is located on the western edge of the Lake of Nine. You should know how this works by now. When you enter the doors of this dragon location, Reginn’s Favor: The Fire of Reginn will commence.

Dragon Location 3: How to Complete The Fire of Reginn

This is another dragon location where you must demolish three shrines, although this one is much larger than the others. In front of the rune pillar is a locked door. From the locked door, turn right and follow the long walk until you find Reginn around a bend.

The dragon, like its sisters, breathes lightning, but your path crosses it only once for the time being. Continue forward until you reach the first shrine.

Just a few steps ahead, under a firepot, is the second shrine. Return to the clearing and turn right after turning around. Hit all three bells in a short amount of time to solve the rune door problem. To count as a hit, throw sap at the first one and then shot it with a shock arrow. Assault the other two with your Axe.

Follow the trail until you reach another clearing with a pedestal (it’s a long one). The third shrine is in front of it, but keep an eye out for Reginn’s lightning, which passes through this area on a regular basis. Destroy the shrine and speak with Reginn after dealing with any monsters in the clearing.

Return to Brok with your Dragon Tears, and you can use them to enhance the Gauntlet.
