The Sea's Legend Guide In Pokemon Legends: Arceus. In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Request 66 is one of the most challenging, yet it will bring players to a rare Pokemon to catch.
Once players have completed Mission 10, The Lordless Island, and have begun Mission 11, Scaling Perilous Heights in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, they will allowed to take up Request 66 (The Sea's Legend). Players can check out the Request board in Laventon's room if they enter Galaxy Hall. The Sea's Legend written by the professor himself, and it will take several steps to complete. Players should anticipate to spend at least 30 minutes to complete Request 66 and receive the Mythical Pokemon Manaphy as a reward.
Iscan recalls a storey about a "princely Pokemon" read in a book called "The Sea's Legend," and the professor says he's hunting for a Pokemon that observed swimming near Cobalt Coastlands. The Canalave Library in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl has this book. Mantyke, Buizel, and Qwilfish three Pokemon found in the Hisui and Sinnoh regions, respectively. In Pokemon Legends: Arceus, players must catch all three of these Pokemon in order to accomplish this mission and find the Manaphy for Laventon. The Qwilfish, on the other hand, will need to grow into an Overqwil.

Mantyke, Buizel, And Qwilfish (Mantyke, Buizel, And Qwilfish)
Buizel can found in abundance in the first beginning area of Pokemon Legends: Arceus, Obsidian Fieldlands. When players earn the ability to ride on top of Basculegion, they should start seeing Mantyke in the water. Mantyke can found in Ginkgo Landing or Tranquility Cove in the Cobalt Coastlands. Beachy locales such as the Cobalt Coastlands (Tranquility Cove, Lunker's Lair, Islespy Shore) and the Obsidian Fieldlands' Ramanas Island are also good places to look for Qwilfish.
Qwilfish Evolution To Overqwil

This Request will not require the evolution of the Buizel or Mantyke, but players will need to evolve Qwilfish into an Overqwil, which should not take too long. Players must use the move Barb Barrage 20 times in Strong Style to evolve it. The best way to do this is to simply go to Obsidian Fieldlands and begin fighting all of the wild Pokemon there. When Qwilfish's PP for Barb Barrage runs out, players can return to Camp to recuperate before returning to battling. Qwilfish will available to evolve in the Satchel menu after 20 uses, and the mission will completed.
Heading To Cobalt Coastlands

Players should travel to Cobalt Coastlands and visit the Coastlands Camp after obtaining all three required Pokemon. If players do not yet have access to that camp, they can instead attend Beachside Camp. However, before you do anything, speak to the NPC in camp to adjust the time of day to Midday. Before proceeding to the next phase in the Request, players must have Overqwil, Buizel, and Mantyke in their party.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus players will uncover a structure that resembles two pincers emerging from the ocean to the far east of Colbalt Coastlands. The location can seen in the two photographs below for reference.
When you use the ride Pokemon to travel beneath the "pincers," the following message will flash on-screen: "You heard a cry and a boulder shifting in the distance." The game will not advise players what to do next, but there is a cave in this location that has recently opened up, and inside will be the Manaphy for the Pokemon professor to catch.

However, before heading to the cave, players replace Mantyke, Buizel, and Overqwil with more powerful Pokemon, as the battle with Manaphy in the cave will not easy, as it will joined by a number of Phione, Manaphy's pre-evolution. The three Pokemon no longer required for the Request as long as players receive the message beneath the ocean structures.
The Search For Manaphy's Cave

Seaside Hollow is the name of the cave that has opened up on the north side of Veilstone Cape. To get to the other side, players can either surf to the right and then around the entire land area, or just go through the path beneath it. For anyone having trouble finding it. It marked on the map above.
Fighting Manaphy And Phione

A short cinematic will play after players enter the cave, followed by an encounter with Manaphy and three Phione. It won't work if players throw a Poke Ball at Manaphy right away because it already agitated. Players must engage in combat with it and weaken it until it caught with any Poke Ball.
Manaphy is level 50, and the Phione are in their 30s, so if players take on all four Pokemon at once, this may be a difficult battle. Separating Manaphy from the rest of the Pokemon and challenging it alone is the best option. Alternatively, players can first catch or vanquish the Phione before pursuing Manaphy.
Take it back to Professor Laventon once you've caught it, and you'll awarded with three Comet Shards.
The Nintendo Switch version of Pokemon Legends: Arceus is now available.
