How To Unlock The Paraglider In Dying Light 2. Dying Light 2 has a large map to explore and plenty of material to find. If one wants to see everything that the game has to offer, the developers at Techland claim that there is up to 500 hours of playtime to discover.
Exploring a map with this much scope and depth in terms of size and verticality can take a long time. It remains to be seen whether Techland’s claims of massive content will live up to such lofty expectations, but Dying Light 2 is a massive game by any standard. Unlocking and using the Paraglider is one of the greatest ways to navigate the vast map. The game’s Paraglider, like the UV Flashlight, is a Nightrunner tool that is unlocked as part of the storey and cannot be overlooked.

Getting the Paraglider
Aiden will need to travel to the quest “A Place to Call Home” to unlock the paraglider after completing the “Lets Waltz” mission and escaping through the Metro system.
The task takes place in the Central Loop, and Aiden will need to talk with Lawan, a character played by Rosario Dawson from The Mandalorian. She will then hand over the paraglider to Aiden, who will be able to operate it freely after a brief tutorial.
Using the Paraglider
Aiden can now jump from the top of any building to trigger the paraglider now that he has it. After leaping off, the player will instructed to click the X button on Xbox or the Square button on PlayStation to activate it, which works in tandem with Dying Light 2’s Parkour elements.
To stay in the air, the player must pull back on the L stick to maintain flight. In addition, there steam vents strewn over the map that can exploited to keep flight and momentum. When used in flight, these air vents will also restore Aiden’s stamina metre.

Upgrading The Paraglider
The Paraglider, like all other Nightrunner tools in the game, can upgraded at a Craftmaster stand. It three optional upgrades that cost money and detailed as follows in-game:
- 1Upgrade 1: Fly through wide-open spaces and securely land from enormous heights.
- 2Upgrade 2: Improves manoeuvrability and range, as well as the ability to raise the height of the aircraft in flight.
- Upgrade 3: Allows you to speed up.
The paraglider is a lot of fun to use, but perfecting the manoeuvrability will take some time. It’s also the best way to go about the map as quickly as possible before Dying Light 2’s Fast Travel function unlocked.
