The Dainty Sload Quest Guide In Skyrim

The Dainty Sload Quest Guide In Skyrim. The Dainty Sload is a mission related with the Thieves Guild in Skyrim. The goal of this quest is to frame Volf, a ship captain who defrauded the guild. If you want to become the Thieves Guild’s leader through the quest Under New Management, you’ll need to finish this mission.

We’ll go over everything you need to know about completing The Dainty Sload in this tutorial. Before you begin, keep in mind that this task will necessitate a great deal of stealth. As a result, having a high sneak level is recommended. Let’s start with what you need to accomplish before you begin The Dainty Sload.

Completing Five Small Jobs

The Dainty Sload takes place in Solitude, therefore you’ll need to finish five little assignments for Delvin Mallory and Vex in the city before you can begin.

Delvin and Vex may be located in the Ragged Flagon, where they will assign you a job to discover an object in a specific place based on a random generator.

Before you can start The Dainty Sload, you must finish five of these little assignments in Solitude. Delvin will tell you that there is a job in Solitude and that you should speak with Erikur once you’ve completed this.

Speaking With Erikur

Within Solitude, Erikur can be located in the Blue Palace. If it’s late at night, he’ll be home, but you won’t be able to enter. Although you have the option of breaking into his home, we do not recommend it.

Speak with Erikur in the Blue Palace, and he will tell you about Volf, a ship captain who defrauded him during a commercial transaction.

During your conversation with Erikrur, he will assign you the mission of framing Volf by placing a narcotic known as Balmora Blue aboard his ship.

How to Get Balmora Blue

To obtain Balmora Blue, you must first meet with Sabine Nytte, who is stationed outside the East Empire Company Warehouse on a ship called the Red Wave. Just outside of Solitude, you’ll find this.

Paying For Balmora Blue

Balmora Blue may be obtained quickly by paying 1,500 gold. He will give you a key and tell you where the Balmora Blue is when you pay.

Stealing The Balmora Blue

You can sneak up to Sabine, take the key, and head to the chest if you don’t want to play 1,500 gold. You can simply skip Sabine entirely and open the lock on the chest carrying Balmora Blue instead.

This chest may be found near to the Red Wave under the docks.

Some players claim that Sabine is locked inside the Red Wave due to a bug. Trespassing on the inside of the Red Wave is illegal, making it impossible to reach her. You can get aboard the ship and steal the key if this happens to you. Sabine will pursue you to the docks if you are caught. Keep your distance until they stop fighting, then inquire about the Balmora Blue with Sabine.

The Balmora Blue Is Being Planted

It’s now time to travel to Volf’s ship, the Dainty Sload. This ship may be found near Solitude’s lighthouse, although there will be several guards on board.

When you arrive at the ship, you’ll notice two adversaries defending the interior entrance. These adversaries will be on the go; you can either fight them or sneak by them.

There will be more adversaries inside the ship, which can be slain or slipped through. Make your way down to the ship’s bottom level until you reach the Captain’s chamber. Volf’s First Mate, who has a high level of detection, will be stationed in this region. You’ll have two choices here.

  • Sneak by the First Mate and pick the lock on the adept chest where the Balmora Blue is hidden.
Assassinate the First Mate and take the key from his corpse.
  • Whatever you do, make sure to plant the Balmora Blue and return the way you came. If you slipped past the guards on your way in, you’ll have to do the same on your way out.

Returning To Erikur

After finishing the dainty sload mission, the player speaks with Erikur.
Return to Erikur in the Blue Palace with the drugs planted. He’ll be overjoyed that you framed Volf and will reward you with a random spell book and a new merchant in the Ragged Flagon.

Finally, completing The Dainty Sload will result in the appearance of three Thief Cache barrels in Solitude. Below are the locations of these loot-filled barrels.

  • Off the path behind Vittoria Vici’s house
  • Behind the Winking Skeever
  • Standing near other barrels next to Erikur’s house

The task is complete once you’ve spoken with Erikur and collected your reward. From here, you can continue to do little assignments for Delvin Mallory and Vex in other cities.
