How To Farm Adhesive In Fallout 76

How To Farm Adhesive In Fallout 76. In Fallout 76, adhesive is a necessary component. If players’ supplies are always running short, they might wish to attempt these strategies.

In Fallout 76, adhesive can used a variety of ways. To make bombs, weapon upgrades, and a variety of other helpful goods, players will require adhesive. Due to the material’s importance in so many things, solitary survivors will need to accumulate a significant amount of it.

Adhesive can obtained in four different methods. The first is to kill Gulpers and Honey Beasts and loot them. Cooking and scraping vegetable starch is another alternative. Similarly, scrapping several lootable things in Fallout 76 produces adhesive. Finally, Giant Pitcher Plants can harvested for digested ooze, which can scrapped for glue. This is a survivor’s guide to each of these techniques.

Russ Boswell updated this page on February 14th, 2022: Some Fallout 76 players are still making their way through the Appalachians in their effort to survive the horrors that have befallen the earth. Even now, there are some new gamers entering the Fallout zone and embarking on their survival mission. What these players may not realise is the significance of certain crafting resources in the game. One of the most significant unusual crafting ingredients in Fallout 76 is adhesive. The following list has updated with even more information to properly demonstrate where adhesive is in Fallout 76 as well as some of the less traditional means of finding adhesive in Fallout 76.

Using Vegetable Starch In Cooking

Vegetable starch made in a straightforward manner. The following objects must collected by gamers:

  • Mulfruit x2
  • Corn x2
  • Tato x2
  • Purified Water

A cooking station is, of course, required. The materials required are provided below for those who do not have one. Players will need to either create improved stations in the new C.A.M.P./workshop or learn a recipe to do so. They’re all the same in terms of needs.

  • Steel x2
  • Wood x2

Two adhesives can scraped from each vegetable starch. This approach is the most time intensive because it contains the most steps and requires four separate ingredients. Survivors may want to consider starting a vegetable starch farm to cut down on the time it takes to acquire the above components.

Create A Starch Farm

A water source and the following elements to re-plant all that is required for a starch farm. If plants have dirt, water, and sunlight, photosynthesis will occur. Fertilizer is beneficial, but it not required for beginning players.

It will be easier to make starch and glue with roughly 10-20 of each plant than it will be to farm the resource in the wild. This process will take some time at first, but after a healthy harvest appears, it is the quickest way to create adhesive.

Giant Pitcher Plant Farming

When harvested, these gorgeous bulbous plants give digested goo. When scraped, the goo from each plant creates four adhesives, which is twice as much as vegetable starch. People with the Green Thumb perk can earn a total of eight adhesive per plant if they equip it. The most fruitful and efficient of the four methods is this one.

Players should search the Cranberry Bog for these plants, starting at the Big Bend Tunnel East. Gamers will be able to see a dozen or more of the plants as they make their way across the bog if they move east. By scraping all of the gunk, anyone may get over 100 adhesive in only a few minutes.

Finding Gulpers & Honey Beasts

Both of these critters have the potential to drop glue or trash. Honey Beasts can found in Appalachia’s Toxic Valley, Mire, and Forest. Excessive adhesive is a Honey Beast drop that can scrapped for adhesive or sold after being bulked at the workbench. Gulpers can found in the Cranberry Bog and the Mire. Killing a few Gulpers while gathering Giant Pitchers will offer survivors a bit extra adhesive.

Gulpers, unlike Honey Beasts, do not drop glue, but they can drop garbage that when scraped makes sticky. In general, finding these species for glue is a lot more difficult than harvesting plants. Players must be concerned about dying, as each beast may or may not provide adhesive.

Looting Junk & Scrapping It

When scraped, various debris in Fallout 76 turns into glue. Junk can found all over the map, so finding it won’t a problem. Clancy Manor at the north end is one of the better sites to look. People will be able to discover a lot of garbage to scrap and use for handicraft there on a regular basis. On the second floor, players should keep an eye out for a variety of things that can scraped into adhesive:

  • Wonderglue (Economy/Sealed)
  • Vegetable Starch
  • Sealed Wonderglue
  • Pack of Duct Tape
  • Military Grade Duct Tape
  • Handmade Glue
  • Excess Adhesive
  • Economy Wonderglue
  • Duct Tape
  • Digested Goo
  • Bulk Adhesive

All of these things can be broken down into adhesive. The amount given to players varies depending on the item.

Purchasing Adhesive in Bulk

In addition to dismantling things into their constituent parts, players may occasionally come across bulk adhesive for sale from a variety of sellers. Here are some of the places where bulk adhesive may be purchased:

  • Carver Timmerman
  • Eugenie
  • Responders Vendor
  • Rudy Fernandez
  • Scavenger Trader
  • Vendor Bot Responder
  • Bot Bob Vendor
  • Vendor Bot Chad
  •  Bot Greg Vendor
  • Vendor Bot Mack

Clancy Manor is only one of several places where you can find the above items. Survivors who find Wonderglue and Duct Tape should make a mental note of where they found it so they may return there when they need more adhesive.
