How To Craft Suit In Subnautica: Below Zero

How To Craft Suit In Subnautica: Below Zero. Subnautica: Below Zero, the sequel to Subnautica, was recently released in its entirety and challenges players to once again explore Planet 4546B. Exploring the alien world, like the first game, is more difficult than it appears, since there are numerous environmental hazards and dangerous predators to fight with. Fortunately, the playable character, Robin, is incredibly resourceful and can make a variety of gadgets and costumes to aid her in surviving the harsh surroundings.

Unfortunately, creating the suits in Subnautica: Below Zero is more difficult than it appears, as players must hunt the game’s deadly seas and new polar biomes for materials and fragments needed for blueprints.

Jack Pursey updated this page on February 17, 2022: Every other suit in the game pales in comparison to the Prawn Suit. The Prawn Suit provides 600 health, allows players to store goods, and allows them to breathe underwater indefinitely.

The Prawn Suit may be modified with a vast range of upgrades, so it’s significantly more than simply its initial attributes and benefits. We’ve updated this list to include every single upgrade for the suit, along with an explanation of what they do and how to manufacture them, to help players select which upgrades to craft.

Reinforced Dive Suit

The Reinforced Dive Outfit accomplishes exactly what it says on the tin, providing Robin with a more durable diving suit to keep her safe. The suit reduces damage absorbed by 50% and raises heat resistance from 50 to 70 degrees. The suit, however, has a disadvantage in that it slows down the player’s swimming speed.

Fragment Location:

The Reinforced Dive Suit fragment may be discovered in the Mercury II’s bow portion, which is roughly 250 metres deep in the Lilypad Islands biome.

Materials Needed:

  • 1x Synthetic Fibers – Constructing the Synthetic Fibers is the most difficult part, as it requires 1x Ruby and 1x Spiral Plant Clipping. Rubys can be found on the seabed of a variety of biomes, such as the Lilypads Crevice, Tree Spires, and the perilous yet gorgeous Crystal Caves. The Spiral Plant Clipping is also tough to obtain, as it requires players to locate a Spiral Plant in either the Deep Purple Vents or a Ventgarden. Cutting a Spiral Plant will result in a clipping.
  • 2x Diamond – Diamonds, like Rubys, can found on the seabeds of many biomes. Deep Twisty Bridges, Thermal Spires, and Tree Spires are examples of such biomes. In arctic biomes like Delta Island and East Arctic, diamonds can also found.
  • Titanium is one of the most prevalent materials in Subnautica: Below Zero. 2x Titanium – Titanium is one of the most common materials in Subnautica: Below Zero. Argentite outcrops, Limestone outcrops, Galena outcrops, Rocks, and Calaverite outcrops are only few of the sites where it can found. Titanium can also obtained through the creation of Metal Salvage and the scanning of things for which the player already possesses blueprints.

Cold Suit

As it relates to Below Zero’s new polar biomes, the Cold Suit is a new addition to the Subnautica series. The suit is necessary for venturing deep into the above-water biomes since it keeps Robin from succumbing to hypothermia. The Cold Suit stands out among the others on this list since it requires a matching helmet and gloves to be fully functional.

Cold Suit – Fragment Location:

The Phi Robotics Center, which is located within the Glacial Basin biome, has the Cold Suit piece. The plans for the Cold Suit Gloves and Cold Suit Helmet will also unlocked once the piece has scanned.

Cold Suit – Materials Needed:

  • 2x Fiber Mesh – Players will require 2x Creepvine Samples, which must cut from Creepvines, to manufacture Fiber Mesh.
  • 2x Snow Stalker Fur – As the name implies, Snow Stalker Fur is one of the most difficult to obtain resources. Players must build a Spy Pengling (x2 Titanium, 1x Wiring Kit, 1x Battery, 1x Silicone Rubber) and Spy Pengling Remote (1x Copper Wire, 1x Titanium) to steal the fur from a Snow Stalker. Snow Stalker Fur can also discovered in the tunnels of Glacial Bay.

Cold Suit Gloves – Materials Needed:

  • 1x Fiber Mesh
  • 1x Snow Stalker Fur

Cold Suit Helmet- Materials Needed:

  • 1x Fiber Mesh
  • 1x Snow Stalker Fur

Stillsuit

The Stillsuit is ideal for anyone who tired of having to continually refill their hydration metre. The Stillsuit, which transforms Robin’s biological fluids into Reclaimed Water twice each day, will not totally remove the player’s time spent looking for drinkable fluid, but it will greatly reduce it.

Materials Needed:

  • 1x Synthetic Fibers – Synthetic Fibers can made with 1x Ruby and 1x Spiral Plant Clipping, as described in the Reinforced Dive Suit section.
  • 1x Aerogel – Aerogel made up of a mix of 1x Ruby and 1x Gel Sack. As discussed before, Ruby can found in numerous seabeds. Gel Sack, on the other hand, can found in the following biomes on an irregular basis: Deep Purple Vents, Deep Twisty Bridges, Lilypad Islands, Lilypad Islands Caves, Lilypads Crevice
  • Copper Wire made from 1x Copper Ore and 2x Copper Ore. Players must crack apart Limestone Outcrops and Rocks to find Copper Ore.

Prawn Suit

The Prawn Suit differs from the other suits on this list in that it is a vehicle that the player enters instead of a suit that they wear. The Prawn Suit was one of the most expensive things in the previous Subnautica, since it allowed players to travel to the ocean’s deepest depths while also making them exceedingly difficult to kill, no matter which predators were attacking.

In Below Zero, the mechanical suit isn’t as important because an updated Seatruck is the superior vehicle. Nonetheless, the suit is well worth building because it is still the greatest way to navigate the ocean floor.

Location of Fragment:

The Phi Excavation Site, Koppa Mining Site, Mercury II’s bow section, and Outpost Zero all have prawn suit fragments.

The following materials are required:

  • 1x Plasteel Ingot – Constructing the Plasteel Ingot takes time because it requires 1x Titanium Ingot and 2x Lithium. Lithium may discovered in the seabed of various biomes, including Purple Vents, Deep Purple Vents, Deep Twisty Bridges, Tree Spires, and Thermal Spires, and Titanium Ingots require 5x Titanium.
  • 1x Power Cell – Another time-consuming object to make is a Power Cell, which requires 2x Battery and 1x Silicone Rubber. Players must mix 1x Copper Ore with 2x Ribbon Plant to create a Battery (commonly found around the starting area). 1x Creepvine Seed Cluster (found on Creepvines) required for Silicone Rubber.
  • 1x Enameled Glass – 1x Glass, 1x Lead, and 1x Diamond used to make Enameled Glass. Glass can made with 2x Quartz, Lead can obtained in Galena Outcrops, and Diamond may discovered on the seafloor of a variety of biomes.
  • 1x Computer Chip – Obtaining the final material required to construct the Prawn Suit will take some time. 2x Table Coral Sample, 1x Copper Wire, and 1x Gold required. Table Coral Samples can gained by cutting Table Coral in the Twisty Bridges and Lilypad Islands; Copper Wire requires 2x Copper Ore, and Gold can discovered in the Calaverite Outcrop and Rocks.
