How To Get In The Sandbox In Grounded

How To Get In The Sandbox In Grounded. Grounded is a significant departure from Obsidian Entertainment’s regular fare. Rather than being a fantasy or hard science fiction epic, the game is a small-scale homage to 1990s adventure films, like Honey I Shrunk The Kids.

Grounded, on the other hand, shares certain key characteristics with Obsidian’s past games, such as a concentration on exploration. When you’re only a few inches tall, a single yard might feel like a nation, and even a modest step can feel impossible.

The sandbox, a new biome introduced in Grounded’s Hot and Hazy update, is a prime example of this. It’s a conundrum in and of itself to scale its three-foot-high walls.

Tipping the Shovel

The key to get inside the sandbox has nothing to do with the sandbox itself. Instead, players must scale an adjacent picnic table to get access to the sandbox.

Unfortunately, the issue of height is even more acute here. A leaning shovel is propped up against a shattered rock in the table’s southeast corner. The shovel will fall over and make a bridge to the bench seat if the player blows up the rock with a bratburst or a splatburst.

Climbing the Table

Players should be cautious as they climb because the half-eaten lunch at the picnic table attracts Grounded’s bees. They should take a seat on the opposite side of the table, away from the shovel, banana, and bees, and cross the wooden bar that runs beneath the table and connects the opposite chairs.

A stack of off-brand Dungeons and Dragons books forms a slope to a cooler in the distant seat. Its handle is currently upright, but if the player presses the red button on the side, it will drop to the side, making a ramp to the top of the table.

Entering the Sandbox

There are a few things worth looking at on top of the picnic table, but the most relevant place for the purposes of this tour is beneath the spilled orange book. A new field station and a pre-set zip line lead straight to the sandbox are hidden beneath it. To make it useable, the player will require 12 silk ropes, therefore they should kill a couple of Grounded’s spiders before embarking on this journey.

Before exiting the sandbox, players should use caution. The location is not only defended by hazardous antlion opponents, but it also causes the player to sizzle. The sands are hot enough throughout the day to slow down and injure the player over time. However, it can be mitigated with antlion armour, mint shards, or Grounded’s Fresh Defense mutation.
