Destiny 2: How To Find Faction Chests In Miasma. Players have been treated with a profusion of material with the release of Destiny 2’s latest update, The Witch Queen. Unexpectedly, a non-player character steps in as a vendor for Destiny 2’s zone dedicated to the main antagonist.
During the main campaign of The Witch Queen, players will encounter the NPC Fynch, who will assign them a side quest titled “Trust Goes Both Ways.” The quest will take players throughout Savathun’s Throne World and provides as an excellent introduction to the zone’s layout and secondary goals. However, one stage of this mission has proven to be a stumbling block for participants.
How to Find Faction Chests
The Faction Chests are essentially the same as the caches discovered at any destination. Why Bungie chose this new phrase is perplexing and serves only to confuse players. However, after the chaos is cleared, it’s simply a matter of hunting down the Miasma’s chests. Nota bene, opening regional chests, chests obtained through challenging opponents, or chests obtained through public events will not count. Additionally, The Miasma is the northernmost zone in Savathun’s Throne World.
With the details out of the way, the simplest method of tracking chests is to employ one of Ghost’s several skills. There are five different treasure chest tracking skills available, based on the amount of points spent.

- Loot Seeker – Detects caches within a 20-meter range
- Prize Pursuant – Detects caches within a 30-meter range
- Cache Finder – Detects caches within a 40-meter range
- Treasure Hunter – Detects caches within a 50-meter range
- Expert Tracker – Detects caches within a 75-meter range
How to Loot Faction Chests
With the difficult task of locating the chest completed, all that remains is to loot it. To claim the contents, click the corresponding interact button. To accomplish the quest “Trust Goes Both Ways,” repeat this four times within the Miasma and complete two patrols.
There is a great deal of stuff in The Witch Queen. Fynch assumes the role of the Savathun’s Throne World’s dealer. The Guardian, Ghost, and Hive Ghost form an intriguing alliance. Completing his tasks and bounties will earn him rank, which will enable him to obtain the new regional armour set. This outfit is only one of the new items available to players.
