How To Power Stance Weapons In Elden Ring

How To Power Stance Weapons In Elden Ring. Elden Ring is, in many respects, the culmination and mixture of every FromSoftware RPG released to date. The Posture system, which was inspired by Sekiro, and the Stonesword Key, which is effectively a Pharrous Lockstone from Dark Souls 2, are among the elements and aspects that have been brought back.

Elden Ring, on the other hand, borrows from Dark Souls 2 in more ways than one. Players can use Power Stancing to unlock a unique moveset by equipping two weapons of the same type. Power Stancing is a proven technique to boost your damage while consuming a lot of Stamina in Elden Ring. It functions similarly to Dark Souls 2, but has been altered to fit Elden Ring’s unique fighting system.

An Introduction to Power Balancing

Power Stancing is a feature that introduces a new moveset centred on dual-wielding for each weapon type. Despite the fact that Dark Souls 3 had dual-wielded weapons, they were only equipped a single item. Power Stancing allows players to utilise any two weapons of the same type in each hand, allowing for a wide range of dual-wielding builds.

An Axe, for example, can only Power Stanced with another Axe, and a One-Handed Sword can only Power Stanced with another One-Handed Sword. Another thing to keep in mind is that attacking when Power Stanced takes a lot of energy, especially Heavy Attacks, so make sure to spec heavily in Endurance to raise both your Equip Load (allowing you to hold two weapons) and your total stamina.

How To Make Elden Ring’s Stance Weapons More Powerful

In Elden Ring, players just need two weapons of the same type equipped to Power Stance – and that’s all. Throughout the Lands Between, merchants sell a wide range of simple weapons. Of course, weapons found in the real world work just as well, but it’s a good method to match an off-hand weapon to your primary weapon.

You don’t have to do anything else once they both equipped. Players can conduct Light and Heavy attacks by pushing the right shoulder and trigger (or R1 and R2), while pressing the left shoulder and trigger (or L1 and L2) allows them to defend themselves, though not as well as with a shield.
