In Elden Ring, players may come upon a structure known as the Grand Lift of Dectus. While exploring the Liurnia region. This incredible elevator can assist fans in reaching the Altus Plateau, but it cannot be used right away. Players must first activate Elden Ring’s Grand Lift of Decuts before riding it, and this article explains how to do so.

How to Use The Grand Lift Of Dectus With Elden Ring

Players must acquire two halves of a Medallion in order to use the Grand Lift of Dectus. Dectus Medallion (Left) and Dectus Medallion (Right) are the names of the two portions. Which can be found inside chests atop two forts. Here are the exact locations of those forts, along with suggestions for the best methods to get there:

Medallion Of Dectus (Left)

Fort Haight, in east Limgrave, is home to the left half of the Dectus Medallion. Which is located just southeast of the Mistwood. To get to this location, players must first summon Torrent. In Elden Ring and then follow the route east from the beginning area. Fans should enter Fort Haight from the side. Climb the stairs against the west inner wall to reach a tower, and then climb the ladder inside to get the box with the Dectus Medallion (Left).

Medallion Of Dectus (Right)

The right half of the Dectus Medallion, which is located inside Fort Faroth in the Caelid region, is far more difficult to reach. Players at low levels are advised not to attempt to ride from Limgrave to Fort Faroth due to the difficulties of the location. Instead, fans should use one of the options below to get near to the fort and reduce the amount of travelling they must do within Caelid:

To the east of The First Steps Site of Grace in Limgrave, go to the Dragon-Burnt Ruins. To teleport to the Sellia Crystal Tunnel in Elden Ring, interact with the chest beneath the Ruins. By descending from the starting cabin and riding east to Fort Faroth, you can escape the Tunnel.

In Elden Ring, get a Deathroot and talk to D Hunter of the Dead in Roundtable Hold. To teleport to the Bestial Sanctum, go to the red mark that the character places on the east Limgrave map. Exit here and travel south to Fort Faroth.

Whatever route a player takes to get to Fort Faroth, they should enter from the west and run north to a ladder. Elden Ring players should now be ready to return to the Grand Lift of Dectus and activate the Dectus Medallion (Right), which is within the chest at the top of that ladder.

Elden Ring is a PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Series X|S game.
