Alpha Sinnoh Starters Locations In Pokemon Legends: Arceus

Alpha Sinnoh Starters Locations In Pokemon Legends: Arceus. The starter Pokemon in Pokemon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum and their remakes, Brilliant Diamond/Shining Pearl, are Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup. These three Pokemon are not provided to players in Pokemon Legends: Arceus, which takes place in old Sinnoh. Instead, trainers can find them roaming three distinct locations of Hisui, making it one of the few times when they can catch starter Pokemon in the wild.

With Pokemon Legends: Arceus, a new feature known as Alpha Pokemon is introduced. These are Pokemon that are significantly larger than conventional Pokemon and have three out of six base stats at level three rather than level one. While the Alpha Sinnoh Starters are at the hands of RNG, players can find Torterra, Infernape, and Empoleon in their final evolved forms.

Trainers Will Require

Players will first and foremost need to be able to cross water with Basculegion. The Alpha Torterra, Infernape, and Empoleon are all located in locations accessible only by “surf.”

The following step is to ensure that the Survey Corps Rank is at least Six Stars. Players will be able to catch Pokemon up to level 80 at Rank 6. While two of the three Alpha Pokemon are below level 65, being at a higher rank will allow you to catch all three Alphas in one run.

Finally, make a large number of Ultra and Heavy/Leaden Balls. To stall it, stock up on Oran Berries or the Alpha Pokemon’s favoured type of food. Just in case, bring a Pokemon that is at least 5-10 levels greater than the Alpha Pokemon.

In the Crimson Mirelands, Torterra

Torterra can be located in the Holm of Trials, which is in the Crimson Mirelands’ southwest corner. Warping to the Boglands Camp is the quickest way reach the Holm of Trials. Torterra and a group of Carnivine will be wandering a small section of the Holm of Trials. Because Carnivine are aggressive Pokemon, it is important to defeat them before attempting to capture Alpha Torterra.

Torterra enjoys the following foods, according to its Pokedex entry:

  • Plump Beans
  • Hearty Grains
  • Crunch Salt
  • Dazzling Honey

Alpha Torterra is a Grass/Ground-type Pokemon with a level of 65. If this were a normal Torterra in the wild, players should avoid using Ice-type techniques on it because they do 4x damage and 1HKO Torterra easy.

Because this is an Alpha Torterra, it should be able to endure powerful attacks as long as players aren’t overleveled. Alternatively, employing a Quick Style Ice-type move to deal damage to Torterra without knocking it out is a safe way to do it.

Candy L. will reward you with a Seed of Mastery and one Exp. if you catch or vanquish it.

The Obsidian Fieldlands’ Infernape

Ramanas Island in the Obsidian Fieldlands is home to Infernape and Chimchar. If you don’t have Basculegion, don’t try to swim to the island.

Alpha Infernape, unlike Alpha Torterra, is not surrounded by aggressive Pokemon. However, scaring away the adjacent Chimchar, whom players may desire to catch and evolve into Monferno, is quite easy. Hide in the neighbouring grass to sneak up on Infernape and distract it with Oran Berries or its favourite meal, as it moves much faster than Torterra.

Alpha Infernape will be level 65, and he like the following foods:

  • Plump Beans
  • Hearty Grains
  • Dazzling Honey

As a Fire/Fighting-type Pokémon, Infernape is vulnerable to Water, Ground, Flying, Fairy, and Psychic-type attacks. Use Quick Style moves to avoid knocking it out while weakening it just enough to catch it, as you did with Torterra.

The Alpha Infernape can be defeated or caught for the same prizes as the Alpha Torterra: Seed of Mastery and Exp. Candy L.

At the Cobalt Coastlands, Empoleon

While players can catch Alpha Torterra and Alpha Infernape if they are Rank 5, the Alpha Empoleon on Islespy Shore in the Cobalt Coastlands is level 69. Go north of the Coastlands Camp to reach Islespy Shore. To get to Islespy Shore, players can utilise Basculegion to surf through the waves, Sneasler to descend the cliffs, or Braviary to fly.

Alpha Empoleon, like Infernape, is lightning quick in the overworld. To make matters worse, there isn’t much tall grass for players to hide in, which means Alpha Empoleon will almost certainly locate them. Be wary of the surrounding wild Walrein and Golduck, who will attack on sight.

Empoleon prefers the same meals as Infernape, however if players don’t want to make better bait like Bean Cakes, they may simply toss an Oran Berry. Alpha Empoleon’s Water/Steel typing makes it immune to Grass-type attacks, but it is vulnerable to Electric, Fighting, and Ground-type attacks.

Catching/defeating Alpha Empoleon, like Alpha Torterra and Alpha Infernape, grants a Seed of Mastery and one piece of Exp. Candy L.
