To obtain a mythological weapon, you must either plant a Reality Seed anywhere on the map or obtain one from an exiled player.
Planting Reality Seeds in Fortnite to Get Mythic Weapons
To obtain a Reality Seed, you must kill one of the numerous massive purple blooms strewn throughout the vicinity of the Reality Tree, as shown in the screenshot below.
When you destroy one of the many purple buds, three Reality Seeds will spit out. After that, pick them up and set them elsewhere on the map. It doesn’t matter where you are, but the quieter you are, the less competition you’ll have for the mythological weaponry they eventually vomit forth.

It’s worth remembering, though, that the longer you wait for the weeds to return after you’ve cleared the weeds and increased the rarity of the stuff your reality plant will drop, the longer you’ll have to wait. For example, it takes 10 hours for the weeds to appear, and once cleared, the prize can be upgraded from rare to epic.

It’s worth mentioning that there’s no way to guarantee yourself a specific mythological weapon out of your Reality Sapling in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3. You’ll be handed one at random from your sapling in particular.
Getting Mythic Weapons from Other Players in Fortnite
