How To Use A Receiver In Raft

How To Use A Receiver In Raft. First made available in Update 1, Raft Receiver was later changed in Update 10. The receiver must now be used with 4-digit codes as a result of Update 10 in order to locate Story islands.

Using a Receiver in Raft will enable you to locate Large Islands and quests more quickly than blind sailing. The orientation of the raft determines where the top of the Receiver display is located.

To put it another way, the player is gazing in the direction of the Receiver display when they are standing in front of it. It has nothing to do with where the raft is going right now.

Use a Raft Receiver Correctly: Raft

The receiver will show nearby points of interest as green and blue dots when it is turned on. Islands are represented by green dots, and quests that demand a four-digit code to complete are represented by blue dots.

Blue dots are always discernible, no matter how far apart the rafts are. The scanning radius of the receiver for green dots is 1250 metres, but the dot will only be visible within a viewing radius of 1000 metres.

Develop Three Antennas

The receiver at the research table, along with the research blueprint. The player must research, craft, and position three antennas after making and placing the receiver. A battery is required to switch on the receiver, and that battery is continuously used while the receiver is turned on. In 500 seconds, or 8 minutes and 20 seconds, a full battery (50 charges) will run out of power.

Install the receiver on the boat.

Signals cannot be received until the receiver is mounted on the raft. Before the receiver can track nearby locations, it must also fulfil a number of requirements.

The Receiver Conditions

At least one full ground above Foundation level must be covered by the receiver. All three Antennas must be on the same ground as the receiver or at least one-half level above or below Foundation level, while a single Pillar must be at least one level above or below Foundation level.

The distance between each antenna and the receiver must be at least 2 foundation lengths and about 312 foundation lengths, respectively. The antennas can be placed up to 10 foundation lengths from the receiver before becoming too far away.

Utilizing the receiver

Finding an island won’t be too difficult once you’ve built up a Receiver and Antennas, but you’ll initially need the blueprints. When a green dot appears on the screen, keep investigating until you find it.
