With backflips, a springboard drop kick, and top rope head scissors, Sky displayed amazing acrobatic prowess, but she stumbled when she attempted to land double knees in the corner. When Asuka, a longtime friend and foe from their days in Japan, entered the contest as the second member of Team Belair, they began exchanging holds and blows right away. Belair displayed her ludicrous strength by military pressing Kai across the arena and hurling her into the barrier.

Finn Balor vs AJ Styles

Survivor Series 2022 Results

Styles had the upper hand early by using a series of techniques to isolate Balor’s leg. Balor made an attempt to persuade Styles that they are friends, but The O.C. leader was unreceptive. Balor struggled with his damaged leg as the momentum swung back and forth, but Styles generally had more success. Styles maintained control up until Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest interrupted him, which caused a brawl between them and The Good Brothers at ringside (Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows). As they proceeded to counter one another, Styles and Balor’s comfort with one another was evident.

Balor hit Styles with a double halt after rolling through a calf crusher. Another round of counterattack broken up by opposing Pele kicks that knocked both players out. Balor missed a Coup de Grace in the closing seconds and stumbled on his hurt leg. By smashing Styles’ head into the mat, Balor was able to escape when Styles capitalized with a Calf Crusher. Styles was able to launch off the ropes with a Phenomenal Forearm to secure the victory after a final round of counters near the ring apron. Two top wrestlers put on a terrific demonstration of precise wrestling. Although the conclusion was a little underwhelming, both gentlemen deserve praise for the welts they wore. Balor defeated by Styles through pinfall; grade: B+

Ronda Rousey and Shotzi

Survivor Series 2022 Results

Women’s SmackDown championship match between Ronda Rousey and Shotzi, the underdog, attempted to challenge the champion early, but she almost immediately ran into difficulty. When the challenger botched an enziguri, she put in an ankle lock. Shotzi was successful in trip Rousey in the corner, followed by a cannonball and a dive that eliminated Shayna Bazler at ringside. Rousey awkwardly countered her attempt at a top rope splash after she had thrown her into the corner stairs. For the majority of the battle, the champion regained control, taunting Shotzi and the audience while employing submission holds.

Shotzi took a major chance by applying a springboard DDT variant to the apron, but the execution was awkward. Rousey, Bazler, and spectators in the front row all knocked unconscious in the next splash caused by the ring barricade. To keep her title, Rousey successfully executed a top rope judo throw, the Piper’s Pit, and an armbar. That was a little bit harsh. Given her recent booking, Shotzi took entirely too much offense, and both superstars had awkward moments. At one point, the audience even started chanting “We Want Sasha [Banks].” Shotzi defeated by Rousey by submission to keep the belt. Remarks: D

Survivor Series 2022 Results

Triple Threat match for the US championship Early on, Lashley demonstrated his strength edge. He threw Theory and Rollins about the ring, hit both of them with corner spears, then beat Rollins with Theory as a battering ram. Lashley finally stopped by Rollins with a running knee off the apron. Theory intervened in the conflict, dispatching both adversaries with steel steps. Though fully in charge, Theory let his ego get the best of him. Energized by Theory’s mocking and yelling, which allowed the champion to take control with punches and a sling blade.

Went off and attacked his opponents with many dives and a springboard flip. Rollins lined up Theory for a Curb Stomp in an attempt to win the fight. To get the Hurt Lock on Rollins, Lashley yanked Theory out of the way. Theory stepped in and put a sleeper hold on Lashley after jumping onto her back. After escaping a Theory rolling blockbuster, Lashley seized another Hurt Lock. Theory almost won the match by rolling up Lashley in the middle of her submission, but Rollins’ frog splash stopped the pin. In a funny moment, the enormous Lashely simultaneously applied a Hurt Lock to both opponents. Leapt off Theory’s back on the closing stretch to land a Curb Stomp. Rollins was in the middle of burying Theory with a Falcon Arrow when Lashley struck him with a spear. Rollins topped by a limp Theory, who scored the three-count.

Amazing work all around. All three guys had the chance to demonstrate their unique talents, including Rollins’ speed, Theory’s athleticism, and Lashley’s strength. The advertisements were original and expertly done. Without diminishing Rollins, the ending defied expectations and restored WWE’s devotion to Theory. To win the championship, Theory defeated Rollins and Lashley – Grade: A

Team Brawling Brutes vs Team Bloodline

Survivor Series 2022 Results

Sheamus, Butch, Ridge Holland, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn, and Solo Sikoa : Butch started the battle for Team Brawling Brutes opposite Jey Uso. Early on, Butch focused on Jey Uso’s previously hurt arm using a variety of finger and wrist movements. Holland entered the cage to support his Brawling Brutes teammate, placing Jey Uso at a disadvantage. Jimmy Uso prepared to enter the fight, but Reigns stopped him. Instead, Reigns instructed Zayn to save Jey Uso from the pair’s ongoing arguments. As soon as Zayn and Jey Uso started arguing, Butch was able to knock both men out. Following Zayn rescue of Jey Uso from peril, their tense alliance momentarily patched up.

Despite their newly discovered unity, McIntyre invaded the ring and intimidated Jey Uso and Zayn. If only briefly, Zayn saved Jey Uso from a superplex. Next, Jimmy Uso entered the fray and added three tables to the game. Jimmy Uso tried to preserve the peace as Jey Uso and Sami Zayn got into a shoving match. Reigns scowled as she observed. The trio was able to regroup and destroy their opponents.

Owens was his team’s sixth player to enter the game. He threw three steel chairs into the ring and then used furniture to beat The Usos down. The two close friends Owens and Zayn, who were playing for opposing teams, then locked eyes. Before a fight between the pals could start, Holland grabbed Zayn and beat him down. Jey Uso shot Owens in the chair, but Owens got up and threw Jimmy Uso into a table. Sikoa, a Bloodline enforcer, entered the game in the fourth position and cleared the field. Despite a tremendous effort, Owens also defeated by Sikoa.

The last member of his team to enter was Sheamus. The Bloodline took a hammering from the brawling expert. Sikoa bulky body lifted by Sheamus to the middle rope where White Noise delivered. Reigns, the undisputed world champion, was the last competitor to enter the match. The combatant teams faced off against one another in opposing rings. There was a scuffle before Reigns delivered a powerful blow to take out each foe. All five opponents held between the ropes by Team Brawling Brutes, who then simultaneously struck Sheamus’ chest with their signature strikes. Inadvertently hitting Zayn with a superkick, Jey Uso didn’t appear to care much for his teammate. The Usos hit a 1-D off the top rope on Butch, Reigns speared Holland through a table, Sikoa put McIntyre through a different table, and Owens nearly completed the victory with a stunning on Sikoa.

The match’s grand finale featured a brawl between Owens and Reigns. When Owens stunned Reigns, Zayn would have prevented the referee’s hand from counting to three, giving Owens the victory. By striking Owens below the belt, executing the Helluva Kick, and setting up Jey Uso for a match-ending splash, Zayn demonstrated his commitment to The Bloodline. After the match, Reigns and Jey Uso gave Zayn hugs.

The best storyteller wins every time. These battles frequently make the mistake of emphasizing weapons and spots too much. The match pervaded by concerns about Jey temperament, Zayn allegiance, and their friendship. By turning on Owens and allowing Jey to win, a conflicted Zayn demonstrated his worth. In preparation for future world title battles against Reigns, Sheamus and Kevin Owens appeared to be in good shape. Exceptional plot and terrific action. Group Bloodline defeats Team Brawling Brutes. by pinfall Score: A+

Lawler had two wise quotes. Paul Heyman despises losing so much that he won’t even lose weight, and Sami Zayn has the job security of a Twitter employee. They caused me to laugh.

  • Kai currently has the upper hand over Belair, but that will soon change. Iyo Sky comes out to give her team the upper hand.
  • However, Belair is still able to double-suplex Kai and Sky.
  • Asuka will help balance the scales next.

What will we do to deal with him? Reigns claims that Jey will serve as his right-hand man and that he will focus on his duties as the Tribal Chief. Roman will confront him one-on-one and look him in the eyes to determine Sami’s allegiance.

Finn Balor vs AJ Styles

There are numerous ads in between these parts. Even on a pay-per-view, there must be Peacock ads, Playstation mentions, and other promotional material. I abhor that.
There isn’t much in this contest to talk about. No spectacular moments, but good activity.
There is the expected “when Dominik Mysterio intervene, everyone else begins fighting” material. They fought among the spectators before leaving the ring.
AJ eluded Balor’s attempt at a Styles Clash.
With a tremendous forearm, Styles wins.

  • When will I write, “Ronda Rousey defeated Shotzi by submission”? We’re aware of its progress.
  • I’m still baffled as to why they enjoy Ronda’s eye makeup so much. It always appears terrible.
  • Even though the crowd isn’t moving or even appearing to be speaking, there is so much piped-in noise to make up for it that it is clear that this isn’t a genuine response. We’ve got to stop shouting “We want Sasha,” right?
  • Shotzi flipping over the ropes and Ronda just carelessly sliding off the apron—I have no idea what Shotzi was attempting. Sloppy.
  • Rousey and Shayna Baszler fall back onto some “audience members” after Shotzi leaps onto them and into the crowd.
  • Shotzi gives up. The actual crowd noise is still missing.

Reigns goes to Zayn backstage and queries why the latter deceived Jey. Because he had a big match coming up, according to Sami, he didn’t want to add more to his plate just before that. Even with Kevin Owens, he remained silent. He spoke with Owens. What else did he say? He advised me to turn The Bloodline against it before it turns against me.

He was your friend, says Reigns. I comprehend. However, I want you to realize that this is my family. My blood is in this. I want to know if you’re with us or if you’re going to stab us in the back, so please look me in the eyes. Sami affirms his allegiance to The Bloodline. He won let him down because he one of just five people permitted to be in his presence and it means the world to him. Roman grinned and hugged Sami. But as they hug, Roman scowls.

  • My final opportunity to choose a prediction. Here, I’m going with Theory as the victor. How are you doing? Please comment!
  • I hear a lot of discussion about the Beyblade commercial during Theory’s arrival. There are rumors that this is just another indication that WWE isn’t interested in pursuing him. Although I don’t totally agree that it’s a death knell, I will concede that it doesn’t frequently occur with someone like Roman Reigns. It’s not a promising sign.
  • For the first actual near-fall of the contest, Lashley kicks out of a Pedigree from Rollins.
  • The audience chanted, “Let’s go Rollins.”
  • In The Hurt Lock, Theory is given to Lashley. That is destroyed by Rollins with a splash.
  • Lashley manages to temporarily lock BOTH of them in The Hurt Lock. Impressive!
  • Lashley receives a stomp from Rollins. Theory kept a pin from falling. As Theory collapsed on Rollins after Lashley speared him, he was pinned and declared the winner! Why didn’t he simply cash in on his Money in the Bank win?
