But it’s more difficult said than done to get to this pooch. You’ll need a security clearance and 50 Drones that are dispersed throughout the cosmos (12 of which are in Seraph Station). But if you’ve managed to get everything, you’ll be able to unlock the door and find your way through the maze to our robot dog.
Open Unlock the door
You must finish the space walk on Seraph Station and pass the room with the two ogres in order to discover the door that leads to the dog’s maze. You will encounter Haroktha, the Scourge of the Helium Drinkers, in this room. This is the Hive boss that eluded you at first when you attempted to combat him.
Once you’ve defeated him, head for the side entrance. The circles on the panel to the left of the entrance should all be lit up if you’ve successfully collected all 50 drones.
Enter, then, using whatever means you have, pass through the laser wires. There are several options, like Icarus Dash, Swords, and the genuine Infiltrator Armor that you should purchase from the Exo Frame.
You’ll enter a modest server room after navigating the lasers. Three panels will appear when you enter the console using your security clearance. The first two will spawn in the same room as you, but the third is incredibly challenging and has baffled many players. To find it, you’ll need to exit the room.
When you finish, the door will open, allowing you to use a transmat pad to travel to the Maintenance Substructure. To get to our puppy, we’ll have to make our way through this maze.

- Your death and a 15-second respawn timer will result from falling.
- Turrets are the sole adversaries here.
- There are several options, but only one is the right one.
- If you take the incorrect route, you’ll be sent back to the maze’s beginning.

Mechanical Dog Location In Destiny 2Â
Find all 50 Security Drones
You have to work your way through the system and take out 50 Security Drones in various spots to begin your search for a robot dog.
Each location has the following number of Drones to be found:
10.Europa, 10.Moon, and 10.Heist Battlefields 6.Heist Battlegrounds on Mars 6.Heist Battlegrounds in Europa Operation Seraph’s Shield: 12.Moon: 6.
You may get instructions on where to locate each of the 38 Security Drones outside of Operation Seraph’s Shield task here. However, this site contains the coordinates of every drone inside the mission.
You can get the “Drones Destroyed” victory and Archangel’s Refit sparrow after seeing all of the drones.
As previously noted, go to the door in the Hive boss area and interact with it to open it.
Behind the door
You will encounter three lasers as soon as you unlock the door. Using Titan’s bash abilities on all three components or powerful sword swings, you can avoid the lasers.
After finishing, a door requiring the “Security Clearance” perk will be visible. Within the blue room and white laser hallway, interact with and blast the three markers.

Take the yellow gateway next. You’ll be taken to a brand-new area with platforms. You must complete the short jumping task that is shown here. Look for the tiny red lights on the platforms to make things easier.
After passing the white fluid-filled pipelines, turn right and look for the door at the end. Watch out for the turrets in this area.
Open area puzzlesÂ
Follow the red lights in the newly opened space as in the image above until you reach a door on the wall.
After taking out both turrets, down the slide and proceed along the “blue”-colored right lane. You will die if you follow the pink path.
The dog’s door
Finally, a platform will appear, from which you must descend to a pink light. Jump onto the platform of the white door you can see on the wall.
There will be a mechanical dog in the space. To obtain the “Guardian’s best friend” victory and the dog in the HELM, interact with it.
When you have won “Guardian’s Best Friend,” go to the Exo merchant in the HELM area to see your new pet. Additionally, you are free to pet it whenever you wish.
How to trigger the Good Boy Protocol and pet the dog in Destiny 2
Your four-legged robotic friend can be found in the H.E.L.M. by the Exo Frame once you’ve engaged with him. To start the Good Boy Protocol, which enables you to pet him, get close to him and engage with him. You can pet the robot dog alongside any other teammates you have with you at the H.E.L.M., and doing so will grant victory to all players.
