Here’s how to put your hood up – or down – in Hogwarts Legacy:

  • Open up the Field Guide, otherwise known as the pause menu.
  • Head to the Gear menu in the top left of the screen.
  • Tap the Cloaks and Robes option and put on a cloak or robe that has a hood. This won’t work without one.
  • Once equipped, return to the main Gear menu.
  • Hover over Cloaks and Robes, and a new window will pop up detailing the stats of the currently equipped robe.
  • You’ll see a ‘Hood On/Off’ option in the bottom right of this new window.
  • Tap the corresponding button for your platform (Triangle on PS5 and Y on Xbox, for example) to put your hood on or off in Hogwarts Legacy.
