How To Unlock The Springer In GW2. In Path of Fire, Guild Wars 2 introduced mounts, which shifted the paradigm of in-game exploring. End of Dragons builds on the success of its predecessor by providing new options for players to obtain some of the original mounts from Path of Fire, including the springer, Guild Wars 2‘s second horse.
While the springer isn’t the fastest mount, its ability to leap large distances is invaluable for exploration, allowing players to access vistas, Mastery points, and hero challenges that would otherwise be difficult to reach. End of Dragons features a new way to unlock the springer, which was previously only available during Path of Fire. For all characters, completing either objective unlocks the springer.
In Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire, you can unlock the Springer mount.
The original way of obtaining the springer mount necessitates the installation of the Path of Fire expansion. Complete the Renown Heart objectives at Highjump Ranch, located in the northern region of the Desert Highlands, to unlock the springer.
However, without the use of a raptor mount with Canyon Jumping mastery, or cunning alternatives like a friend teleport or riding in another’s siege turtle — the new tandem mount in End of Dragons – the gap to approach the valley where the ranch is located is far too big.
The springer naturally leads players to this place during Chapter 4 of the Path of Fire tale, where the springer assists players in collecting crystals dispersed over the desert, however this mount can be earned earlier.
Simply fulfil the Renown Heart by completing the following activities once you arrive at the Highjump Ranch:
- Defeat the harpies and their eggs.
- Groundhogs must be removed from the gardens.
- Water and feed the springers.
The springer saddle can be acquired for 50 Trade Contracts and 1 gold from Stablemaster Unja, the Renown Heart dealer, once it has been completed.
In Guild Wars 2: End of Dragons, you can unlock the Springer mount.
The new technique for newcomers to End of Dragons is similar to the original: a Renown Heart seller in the expansion’s second zone is in charge.

First, the springer Mastery track still requires Path of Fire. Which means that those without it will be unable to boost their springer’s leap height, add a knockdown to its Cannonball attack. Or lower their fall damage. Furthermore, players will not be able to access New Kaineng until Chapter 5. End of Dragons — the place is restricted until a particular time in the storey.
As a result, only players who do not have Path of Fire should use this approach to unlock the springer.
