How To Get Dragon Defender Osrs

How To Get Dragon Defender Osrs. The Dragon Defender in OSRS is a massive equipment upgrade to your offensive melee combat stats that replaces a shield. Many players use the defender for extended periods of time throughout their accounts because it has the best melee stats in the slot.

It is only second to the Avernic Defender, which can be obtained from the second Raid, the Theater of Blood. Because this is a rare drop from an endgame activity, the Dragon Defender is much more commonly used.

You must have at least 60 Defence to use the Dragon Defender. However, there are several other prerequisites for the activities from which you obtain the defender. In this guide, I’ll show you how to get to Dragon Defender in OSRS.

Armour Reanimation Station

You can obtain the Dragon Defender in OSRS by following a few simple steps. The first step is to gain access to the Warrior’s Guild, which is located near Burthorpe, Catherby, and Trollheim. This access requires a total of 130 or more in Attack and Strength. You will also be admitted if you have 99 in one of the two skills.

Once you’ve joined the Warrior’s Guild, you’ll need to farm Warrior’s Guild tokens. There are several minigames throughout the guild that reward you with tokens, but the one I recommend is the Armour Reanimation Station.

These machines will reanimate armour sets that you bring into NPCs to fight. It requires bronze through rune full helms, platebodies, and platelegs, and the strength of the NPC is determined by the tier of armour reanimated.

A bronze reanimation, for example, would be level eleven and have ten HP. In comparison, a rune reanimation will have 138 combat level and 120 HP. Of course, the amount of tokens awarded is also determined by the strength of the reanimation. Bronze will grant five tokens, while rune will grant forty tokens.

It’s also worth noting that the armour sets you reanimate will not be lost. The items will simply drop whenever you kill the reanimation, and if the NPC despawns due to taking too long, you can talk to Shanomi, the nearby (non-enemy) NPC, to get the armour pieces back.

Black Armour

I would recommend adding the Dragon Defender to your account as soon as possible, so your combat stats will most likely be low. As a result, reanimating black armour pieces saves the most time.

There are several reasons to use black armour in the reanimation minigame. To begin, even with 65 Attack and 65 Strength, killing adamant or rune reanimations will take a long time. Second, the black armour sets have the same token to HP ratio as the rune armour sets.

Fighting the Cyclops

Once you’ve collected enough tokens from the reanimation minigame, it’s time to move on to the next step in becoming a Dragon Defender in OSRS. I can’t give you an exact number of tokens because they only buy you time with the monsters that kill the defenders.

I would recommend aiming for 500 or 1,000 tokens. With these tokens in your possession, proceed to the top floor of the Warrior’s Guild. Your tokens are required to enter the room with the Cyclopses, who drop defenders at a rate of 1 in 50.

To enter the Cyclops room, you must have at least 100 tokens in your inventory, but only ten will be taken. Every minute you spend in the cyclops room, ten tokens are deducted from your inventory.

Once in the cyclops room, simply kill the cyclopses until they drop the bronze defender. Because they are immune to ranged and magic attacks, you must fight them with melee. You must progress through the tiers of defenders, from bronze to rune.

Each time you get a defender, you must exit the room and show it to Kamfreena, the NPC outside the doors. This allows the next tier of defenders to drop. Simply repeat this process until you obtain the rune defender, and then return to reanimating if you run out of tokens.

Once you have the rune defender, the next step in obtaining Dragon Defender in OSRS becomes available. At this point, you must enter the Warrior’s Guild basement via a trap door near the food shop exit.

There are more powerful cyclopses in the basement, but the mechanics of entering the room remain the same: you must have at least 100 tokens in your inventory, ten deducted upon entry and ten more deducted every minute.

You must also show your rune defender to Lorelai, the nearby NPC. However, once you’ve shown it to her, you don’t need to keep it in your inventory any longer. The cyclopses in the basement are level 106 and drop the Dragon Defender at a rate of 1 in 100.

It is also worth noting that having 99 Attack and the corresponding skillcape equipped will allow you to stay in either cyclops room for free as long as the skillcape is equipped. The Dragon Defender, on the other hand, will be a huge help with this grind.

Finally,

Getting to Dragon Defender in OSRS is a simple process. First, your Attack and Strength skills must total 130, or you must have 99 in both. Then you must collect Warrior’s Guild tokens from the various minigames.

Once you’ve determined that you have enough tokens, go to the Guild’s top floor and fight cyclopses for the bronze via rune defenders. With the rune defender, you can then go into the basement and fight more powerful cyclopses for the Dragon Defender.
